Oasis Cannabis Belen: A Community United Against Arson
On Father’s Day, our highly anticipated Oasis Cannabis Belen store was tragically burned down, just weeks before its planned opening at the end of June. This heinous act of arson has not only delayed our opening but has deeply impacted our team and the community we aim to serve.
This incident follows a similar attack on another retail location in Socorro, believed to be orchestrated by the same competitor. These targeted attacks are a blatant attempt to undermine the spirit of fair competition and disrupt the progress of local businesses.
Oasis Cannabis is committed to bringing those responsible to justice. We are actively collaborating with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the Valencia County Sheriff's Department, and other federal and state agencies. With credible leads, we are hopeful that the serial arsonist will be apprehended soon, putting an end to this cycle of destruction.
Our hearts go out to our friends at Smokal Smoke, who have also suffered from this horrendous act of arson. We stand in solidarity with them during this challenging time and are optimistic that both our businesses will recover and continue to serve our communities.
The resilience and support from the Belen community have been overwhelming. We are more determined than ever to rebuild and bring our quality cannabis products to the area. Together, we will rise from this adversity and continue our mission to provide exceptional service and products.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress and the ongoing investigation. Oasis Cannabis remains dedicated to creating a safe and thriving environment for all our customers and partners. Thank you for your unwavering support as we navigate through this difficult time.
